Meeting of hydrometeorological services of the Caspian States

On March 01, 2023, the 6th (26th) Session of the Coordinating Committee for Hydrometeorology of the Caspian Sea (KASPCOM) was held in an online format. The Session was attended by delegations of the National Hydrometeorological Services of Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation, Turkmenistan.

This meeting is an important event because CASPCOM has become a platform for coordinating the activities of hydrometeorological services on the provision and exchange of information on the state of the Caspian Sea.
The parties discussed a number of issues, including the approval of the New Regulations. The recommendations developed during the Session will contribute to the socio-economic development, ensuring the vital activity of our countries and the conservation of biodiversity in the Caspian Sea.
