USAID discussed with Kazhydromet the possibility of database integration

On March 7, 2023, a workshop was held as part of the work on the technical analysis (Audit) of the Unified Information and Analytical System for Water Resources Management (UIASUVR) KVR of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, dedicated to the issues of the possibilities of integrating EIASUVR with the databases of RSE "Kazhydromet" and JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Garysh Sapary".
The organizer was the USAID Regional Project on Water Resources and the Environment and the RSE "Kazhydromet" of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The participants of the meeting, and these are employees of the Committee on Water Resources of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Department of Digitalization, Informatization and Control of Public Services of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a group of national experts performing the Audit of the EIASUVR, specialists of RSE "Kazhydromet" and representatives of JSC NC "Kazakhstan Garysh Sapary", discussed the progress of the Audit of the EIASUVR.
The Department of Hydrology of Kazhydromet presented the features of working with its digital database. JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Garysh Sapary" by order of the KVR of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan demonstrated the results of joint work.
The main part of the meeting was devoted to discussing the possibilities of integrating the EIASUVR with the databases of RSE "Kazhydromet" and JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Garysh Sapary".
The Unified Information and Analytical System for Water Resources Management (UIASUVR) of the Republic of Kazakhstan was developed from 2009 to 2014. At the moment, negotiations are underway to integrate new databases there for processing and obtaining better water management products.
