In the Turkestan region, the conditions for overwintering winter crops were more favorable, where, against the background of positive air temperatures, the resumption of vegetation of winter wheat and alfalfa was noted. The condition of winter wheat crops is assessed mainly as good, in the vicinity of T.Ryskulov station satisfactory. The condition of alfalfa herbs is good and satisfactory.
In Zhetysu (Taldykorgan station) and Almaty (Uzunagash station) regions, the resumption of winter wheat vegetation is also noted, the condition of the plants is excellent and good. The condition of alfalfa and clover grasses in two regions is good and satisfactory, around the Esik station of the Almaty region is poor, vegetation of grasses is observed everywhere.
In the West Kazakhstan region, meteorological conditions were favorable for the completion of overwintering of winter grain crops.
In the Tulkubassky district of Turkestan region, in the vicinity of T.Ryskulov's stations, after preliminary tillage, they started sowing spring barley.
In the past decade, cattle grazing on winter pastures was carried out everywhere, in the Aitekebi and Kobdinsky districts of the Aktobe region, the Shetsky district of the Karaganda region and the Arkalyk district of the Kostanay region, animals remain on stable maintenance. A breeding company has started in Zhambyl district of Almaty region and Kyzylkoginsky district of Atyrau region.
