At the observed sites in Zhambyl, Almaty and Turkestan regions, after preliminary tillage, spring barley was sown, the phase of "grain germination" - "3rd leaf" is noted in early crops. The quality of field work and the condition of the plants is good.
In the third decade of March in the south and south-east of the republic in the areas of cultivation of winter crops, the temperature background was above normal, precipitation fell below normal.
In Almaty, Zhetysu, Zhambyl and Turkestan regions, the condition of winter wheat in the observed areas is excellent and good. The development phase of "shoots" is "tillering", in some areas "exit into the tube". In the vicinity of Shymkent, wheat was treated with herbicides against weeds in the observed areas.
In the West Kazakhstan region, the increase in air temperature contributed to the rapid melting of snow in the fields and the creation of favorable conditions for winter wheat vegetation.
In the observed areas in the orchards of fruit crops (apple, pear, raspberry) in the southern regions, the phase of development "bud swelling" – "bud budding" is noted, in the apple orchards around the Zharkent station of the Zhetysui region, the phase "appearance of inflorescences". The condition of fruit crops is mostly good, in apple orchards in the vicinity of Taldykorgan station satisfactory.
In the observed areas, the condition of grasses (alfalfa, esparcet) in the southern regions is mostly good, in the vicinity of the Bakanas stations of the Almaty region, the condition of alfalfa and Zharkent crops of the Zhetysui region, the condition of clover crops is assessed as satisfactory, alfalfa crops in the vicinity of the Ushtobe station of the Zhetysui region are poor. Against the background of an increase in air temperature, the resumption of vegetation, the phase of development "stem growth" is noted.
The weather in the past decade has favored grazing. A breeding company has started in Atyrau, Zhetysu, West Kazakhstan and Mangistau regions. Veterinary events are held in the Kyzylkoginsky district of Atyrau region.
Pastures were poorly and moderately grazed. With the onset of positive air temperatures, the resumption of vegetation of pasture grasses in the western, south-eastern and southern regions of the country began.
