Under the influence of the invasion of the North-western anticyclone from the regions of Scandinavia, in the northern half of the country, air temperatures are expected to drop at night to 5-10 degrees below zero. However, spring takes its toll and a gradual increase in air temperature is expected during daytime hours and the thermometer columns will reach the level of 10-18 degrees Celsius in the northern half of the republic on April 13, and 17-30 degrees Celsius in the southern half. Fogs, wind strengthening are expected in the republic, in the southern regions with a dust storm and thunderstorm, in the northern half – ice.
