Published 25.04.2023 According to weather forecasters, precipitation in May is expected to be less than normal in most of the republic, about normal in the north, east and south–east of Kazakhstan.
At the same time, taking into account the spring soaking of the soil and the available moisture reserves, a drought is not expected in May.
In the predominant territory of Kazakhstan, humidification conditions will mostly be close to normal, and in some areas, humidification conditions will be optimally humid.
Optimal conditions will be mainly in the East Kazakhstan and Abai regions: in Tarbagatai, Kurshim, Zyryanovsky, Katon-Karagai, Shemonaikhinsky, Borodulikhinsky, Zharma, Ayagoz, Kokpektinsky districts and in Semey, as well as in Karasu district of Kostanay region, Atbasar, Egindykol and Astrakhan districts of Akmola region, Talgar, Enbekshikazakh districts of Almaty region and in the cities of Almaty and Aktobe.
