About meteorological instrument Anemorumbometer M63-M1

Today we will talk about another meteorological device for measuring the speed and direction of the wind – Anemorumbometer M63-M1.

In meteorology this tool is used since 1983 to the present. Anemorumbometer M63-M1 is designed for remote measurement of instantaneous, maximum and average speeds and wind direction in stationary conditions. The instrument comprises a wind sensor and remote. The sensor is operated at a temperature of – 50...50 °C and relative humidity up to 98%; remote – at a temperature of 5 to 50 °C and a relative humidity of 80%.

the Main objective of this instrument – data archiving, which allow to obtain information about the wind for any period of time (hour, day, month, year). During the processing of the information obtained, specialists of RSE “Kazhydromet” use them to further writing predictions and use in the creation of long-term forecasts of Hydrometeorology and agrometeorology.
