Published 12.07.2023 On July 12-13, 2023, an expanded board with the participation of Vice Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan Dosbol Bekmagambetov, directors of departments and 15 regional branches of the National Hydrometeorological Service of Kazakhstan is being held on the walls of Kazhydromet RSE.
The annual meeting is dedicated to the results of the branches' activities for 2022 and the first half of 2023, as well as to the discussion of problematic issues and ways to solve them.
The directors of the production departments reported on the activities in the field of monitoring, forecasting and the methodological work done. The heads of regional branches provided a full report on the progress of construction and repair work on the ground observation network of RSE "Kazhydromet", highlighted problematic issues and discussed ways to solve them. Special attention was paid to the improvement of forecasting methods, the development and production of modern and popular types of products, the modernization of the network and the opening of new observation points. Over the past year, a lot of work has been done to increase the availability of Kazhydromet information for the population, these are digital meteorological and hydrological databases, interactive maps on meteorological and environmental monitoring. The events held in the RSE "Kazhydromet" and branches within the framework of anti-corruption were also announced.
