The forecast of spring wheat yield for 2023 was released by Kazhydromet

According to preliminary estimates and taking into account the current and expected agrometeorological situation, the yield of spring wheat in the main grain-growing regions of the country in 2023 is expected to be mainly about the average annual values.
Yields are expected to be below normal
in Mendykarinsky district of Kostanay region;
in Pavlodar, Terenkolsky and Uspensky districts of Pavlodar region.
Wheat yield is predicted to be higher than the average annual values:
in the Kyzylzhar district of the North Kazakhstan region
in Glubokovsky district of East Kazakhstan region
