A clarification to the drought forecast for August was issued by Kazhydromet

According to the updated forecast, humidification conditions are expected mainly near normal in August in most of Kazakhstan.
Moderate drought is expected:
in Irgiz district of Aktobe region,
in Shiili district of Kyzylorda region andKyzylorda,
in the Enbekshikazakh district of Almaty region,
in Kordai, Zhualy districts of Zhambyl region, in the vicinity of Taraz,
in Zhetysai, Kazygurt, Arys, Otrar, Turkestan, Suzak and Saryagash districts of Turkestan region,
in the vicinity of Arkalyk, Kostanay region and in the vicinity of Karaganda
Severe drought:
in Amangelda and Dzhangelda districts of Kostanay region,
in Aitekebisky district of Aktobe region,
in Karmakshi district of Kyzylorda region.
It will be moderately humid in the Kaztalovsky and Taskalinsky districts of the West Kazakhstan region.
