A seminar on changing the level of the Caspian Sea was held in Baku

On August 17, 2023, a seminar "The impact of climate change on the dynamics of the Caspian Sea level" was held in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The seminar held in the videoconference format became a platform for discussion and exchange of ideas between the participants, which will play a significant role in the formation of plans for further research and adaptation to possible changes in the Caspian Sea.
The event highlighted the importance of an integrated approach and cooperation of all stakeholders to address the challenges associated with climate change and its impact on natural water resources.
The seminar was attended by the Director of the Research Center Nurlan Abayev, who shared the results of research conducted by the National Hydrometeorological Service of Kazakhstan concerning the state of the hydrometeorological situation in the Caspian Sea region.
