Published 09.10.2023 In the third decade of September, heavy precipitation was still observed in the predominant territory of the main grain-growing zone of Kazakhstan, which reduced the pace of harvesting (except in the west, Kostanay and North Kazakhstan regions), which restrained the pace of harvesting. The observed frosts at night in the northern regions, in the east and center of the country up to minus 2-5 ° C (in places up to minus 7 ° C) were not dangerous for the ripened grain of spring crops, but made it difficult to carry out harvesting in the morning. The massive wheat harvest continues in the northern half of the republic.
Sowing operations have begun in the areas of winter wheat cultivation in the south-east of the republic. At the observed sites in Almaty (Uzynagash station), the phase "shoots"-"3rd leaf", Zhambyl regions (agropost Kordai) "grain germination" is noted, the quality of field work is good.
The condition of heat-loving crops (corn for grain, rice, soybeans, cotton) is excellent and good. Harvesting of rice and soybeans continues.
In the observed areas of the Abai, East Kazakhstan, Kostanay and Pavlodar regions, the "harvest ripeness" phase is observed. Sunflower harvesting has begun at the observed sites in the Abai and East Kazakhstan regions.
In Almaty and Karaganda regions, potato harvesting has begun on potato plantings.
In orchards with fruit crops (apple, pear, raspberry) in the southern regions of the republic, the "fruit ripening" phase is mainly marked – "the beginning of ripening". The poor condition of fruit trees was observed in apple orchards around the Saudakent stations of the Sarysu district of the Zhambyl region, in the rest of the observed areas it was good and satisfactory.
In the areas of pastoral livestock grazing was carried out everywhere. The harvesting, hauling and stacking of herbs continues in the west, southwest, center and north.
The condition of the grass on the pastures is mostly good, in some satisfactory. Pastures are poorly grazed, in some areas moderately grazed. Pastures in Irgiz and Kobdinsky districts of Aktobe region, in Moyinkum and Shuisky districts of Zhambyl region, in Shetsky district of Karaganda region are not grazed, they are strongly grazed in Zhambyl district of Almaty region and in Akzhaiksky district of West Kazakhstan region. On a larger area of pasture livestock, a dry state of sod was noted in some pastures of the west, southwest, southeast, north and center, raw sod was noted.
