Institute of Water Education of the Netherlands visited Kazhydromet

IHE Delft – the world's largest international higher education institution for water resources conducts research related to water, including in the framework of doctoral dissertations. Bota Sharipova, a doctoral student at the university, is currently conducting research on transboundary water cooperation in the Syrdarya River basin.  In order to obtain information for use in her scientific publications, she visited RSE "Kazhydromet".
The study is cross–border cooperation and data exchange as a confidence-building measure between border countries. In her work, B.Sharipova uses the method of comparing cooperation in the basins of the Sava (Southeastern Europe) and Syrdarya rivers. Specialists of the National Hydrometeorological Service of Kazakhstan at the meeting answered the researcher's questions and experience in the field of cooperation on transboundary water bodies.
