Fog, ice, and wind speeds up to 15-28 m/s are expected throughout the republic; gusts of 30 m/s or more will occur in the north-west and north of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the beginning of the month. In the second half of the first ten days of December, with the influx of Arctic cold air masses, the air temperature will drop significantly throughout the country:

In the second and third decades of December, with the influence of cyclones, several intense heat waves are expected:
in the northern half of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the air temperature will rise at night to -5-10°C, during the day to 0.-5°C;
in the southern half of the Republic of Kazakhstan at night up to -3+3°С, during the day up to +5+13°С.
However, on some days, during the northwestern intrusions of anticyclones, a decrease in the temperature background is predicted:
in the northern half of the Republic of Kazakhstan at night up to -20-30°C, during the day up to -8-15°C;
in the southern half of the Republic of Kazakhstan at night up to -10-17°C, during the day up to -3-10°C.
In general, according to the forecast, in December the average monthly air temperature in the country is expected to be 1-2° above normal.
The amount of precipitation in December is predicted to be around normal in most parts of the republic, above normal in the north of the republic.
Note: the monthly forecast should be used as an advisory one, which is subsequently adjusted as the synoptic situation changes and is clarified by weather forecasts for a decade, a week and for 1-3 days.
