Kazhydromet was visited by the Minister of Ecology!

The Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerlan Nuralievich Nysanbayev visited the National Hydrometeorological Service of Kazakhstan. During the visit, the Minister visited the environmental and verification laboratories, the Hydrometeorological Center and got acquainted with the working conditions of employees. Yerlan Nuralievich discussed with Kazhydromet specialists problematic issues of the industry, current plans for the implementation of activities, ways to solve issues of modernization and equipping the enterprise, and also heard a report on the results of work for 2023.
In his speech, the Minister stressed the special contribution of the hydrometeorological service to the work on environmental and climate monitoring, as well as constant participation in research and scientific projects related to climate change and environmental conservation.
Following the meeting, Yerlan Nuralievich gave a number of instructions to improve cooperation between the Ministry and the National Hydrometeorological Service of Kazakhstan in the field of information exchange and timely provision of predictive and hydrometeorological information.
