Published 24.01.2024 Since January 21, 2024, specialists of the branch of RSE "Kazhydromet" in the Aktobe region, together with representatives of the Emergency Situations Department, carried out a snow survey on the upper reaches of the Uil River and the Kargaly reservoir.
At the moment, the process of snow accumulation continues in the region. According to the results of the survey, a preliminary assessment of flood-prone regions is given. According to data from meteorological stations, the amount of accumulated precipitation from November 2023 to January 23, 2024 in the region ranges from 52.7 mm to 111 mm, which is less and about normal. The water reserves in the snow are also less and about normal.
Assessment of the habits of hazardous areas depends on the amount of precipitation in combination with meteorological factors such as heavy precipitation, sudden temperature increases, soil moisture and the depth of its freezing.
