On March 4 and 5, 2024, a workshop for the Program on the Relationship between Water and Land Resources in Central Asia (CAWLN) was held in Antalya, Turkey. The purpose of the Seminar is to bring together representatives of all five countries and organizations in the implementation of the program and its projects aimed at sustainable management of water resources in the region, strengthening water security, agriculture and planning measures to combat climate change.
The seminar participants are representatives of ministries and agencies responsible for water, environmental and agricultural sectors, as well as specialists from hydrometeorological services of Central Asian countries. The program consists of five components aimed at removing barriers that will achieve key results, namely the exchange of best practices and technologies between the five countries, conservation and rational management of water resources.
