Published 13.03.2024 Students of the Physics and Technology Lyceum of Astana "Flagship" came on an excursion to the museum and the Hydrometeorological Center of the National Hydrometeorological Service of Kazakhstan.
Students in grades 7-9 set a goal to create a mini meteorological station on the territory of their educational institution. Geography teacher Yulia Sidorenko became the project manager, and Kazhydromet employees became consultants.
The children were told about the work of meteorological stations, showed historical and modern devices and the principle of their operation. Forecasters expressed confidence that when creating a weather station, the guys will succeed.
