Given the prevailing conditions of the autumn-winter period 2023-2024, moisture reserves in the meter-high soil layer by the beginning of spring field work in almost the entire grain-bearing zone of Kazakhstan are expected to be mostly satisfactory and optimal, however, there is an uneven distribution in accordance with how the autumn reserves of productive moisture in the soil were distributed, the amount of precipitation, the height of snow cover and other factors.
Predominantly satisfactory moisture reserves in the meter-high soil layer are predicted in West Kazakhstan, Aktobe, Pavlodar and Zhambyl regions.
Unsatisfactory humidification conditions are expected only in the Akzhar district of the North Kazakhstan region.
