In the southern half of Kazakhstan, against the background of positive air temperatures and heavy precipitation, active vegetation of winter wheat, perennial grasses, swelling and budding of fruit crops continues.
In the observed sites in the Almaty region, the condition of winter wheat is good, the development phase is "tillering". The average height of plants is 5-9 cm, the number of plants per 1m2 is 300 pcs. (Kyrgyzsai weather station). The condition is excellent and good.
In Zhambyl region, winter wheat has a phase of "3rd leaf" - "tillering", the condition is everywhere good. The average height reaches 7-17 cm, the average number of plants per 1m2 is 89-101 pcs.
In the Turkestan region, the condition of winter wheat is good, the development phase "tillering" is "exit into the tube", near the weather station of T. Ryskulov village, the development phase is "3rd leaf". The height of the plants reaches 8-16 cm. The average number of plants is 323-379 pcs.
In the south and south-east, the moisture supply of winter crops on the last day of the decade in the arable soil layer was optimal from 37 mm to 52 mm and in the meter layer from 173 mm to 441 mm of moisture reserves.
Under favorable conditions, in the observed areas of Almaty, Zhambyl and Turkestan regions, after preliminary tillage, spring grain sowing began everywhere. In the early stages of sowing, "shoots" of spring barley appeared, the condition of the plants is good.
In Almaty, Zhetysu, Zhambyl, Kyzylorda and Turkestan regions, the condition of alfalfa, esparcet and clover grasses is good and satisfactory, plant height reaches up to 14 cm. The average number of plants is 137-350. The development phase is "stem growth".
In Zhetysu and Turkestan regions, in orchards with fruit crops, swelling and budding on apple and cherry branches were observed, the condition is good.
At the end of the decade, most of the pastures were moderately grazed, pastures in Atyrau region (Novy Ushtogan station), in Zhetysu region (Akzhar station), in West Kazakhstan region (Buldurt and Taipak stations) were severely grazed, pastures in Almaty region (Village No. 4 station), in Kostanay region (station Ekiden), Kyzylorda region (Zlikha station) and in Turkestan region (Kyzylkum station), pastures are not grazed in Zhambyl region (Shokpar and Uyuk stations) and in Mangystau region (Sai-Utes station).
Wet sod was observed on most of the pastures, dry sod in places in the Mangystau region.
Due to the onset of prolonged warm days, the resumption of vegetation of pasture grasses in the southwestern, southeastern and southern regions has begun.
