The Kazhydromet Museum was visited by schoolchildren

In the last days of April, students of the 85th metropolitan school visited the museum of the RSE "Kazhydromet". In honor of the 100th anniversary of the National Hydrometeorological Service of Kazakhstan, in December 2021, a museum of the century-old history of the Weather Service was opened within the walls of Kazhydromet.  For 6th grade students who are now actively studying the climate and geographical features of Kazakhstan, visiting the Kazhydromet Museum is one of the most interesting events. An employee of a state-owned enterprise told and showed how the weather is forecast, how forecasters write forecasts and what they use in their work. The guys saw historical instruments and photographs of industry veterans.
