Kazhydromet employee defended her thesis

On April 30, 2024, the defense of a dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy Ph.D. in the educational program "Meteorology" took place at the al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Doctoral student, Head of the Department of Climate Research of RSE "Kazhydromet" Tursin Tillakarim defended her thesis on the topic: "Studies of changes in moisture reserves of snow cover in the Yesilsky and Nura-Sarysuysky water basins in the context of climate change."
The dissertation work was performed at the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Scientific consultants: A.M. Kauazov – PhD, Senior lecturer at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and A. Gafurov – PhD, Department of Hydrology and Geohydrology, University of Stuttgart, Germany.
