Published 05.06.2024 After clarifying the preliminary drought forecast for June, the area of territories where moderately dry conditions are expected increases.
Atmospheric drought is expected:
in Kostanay region in Amangelda and Dzhangelda districts;
in Mangistau region in Mangistau and Karakiyan districts;
in the West Kazakhstan region in Kaztalov, Zhanybek, Taskalinsky and Akzhaiksky districts;
in Aktobe region in Kargaly and Mugalzhar districts
in Karaganda region in Shet district;
in Ulytau region in Ulytau district;
in the Abai region, in the Ayagoz and Urzhar districts,
in the Zhambyl region, in the Moyinkum district;
in the Kyzylorda region, in the Karmakshi and Kazali districts.
Moderately humid conditions in June are expected in Katon-Karagai and Kurshim districts of East Kazakhstan region, in Beskaragai district of Abai region, in Talgar district of Almaty region, in Bukhar-Zhyrau, Osakarovsky districts of Karaganda region, in Karaganda and in a significant part of Pavlodar and Akmola regions.
In the rest of the country, humidification conditions are expected to be close to normal for this month.
