Published 05.08.2024 On August 5, 2024, Niko Schermers, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Central Asia, visited the National Hydrometeorological Service of Kazakhstan. The guests visited the Hydrometeorological Center, the environmental pollution monitoring testing laboratory, and also got acquainted with the main activities of Kazhydromet.
At a meeting with representatives of the Embassy, Director General of RSE Kazhydromet Danara Alimbayeva spoke about the main activities of the service and elaborated on hydrological monitoring and research conducted in the Caspian Sea.
During the discussion of further cooperation, the parties also discussed issues of joint meetings and plans for the exchange of experience in the field of hydrological and meteorological forecasting.
