Kazhydromet employees have completed training courses in India

In the period from July 22 to August 02, 2024, employees of Kazhydromet RSE completed a short-term refresher course: "The fifth short-term CSSTEAP course on weather forecasting using numerical weather forecasting models" at the Space Science and Technology Training Center in the Asia-Pacific Region (CSSTEAP) in Ahmedabad, India.
The course is aimed at a more detailed study of the processes of using numerical methods in weather forecasting, as well as learning how to work in modern software models.
In addition to educational trainings, the Center conducts many short-term courses on various topics of remote sensing of the Earth, geographic information systems (GIS), satellite missions and navigation systems. CSSTEAP also supports UN activities, organizes seminars and participates in meetings on various international platforms.
