A brief agrometeorological review for the 1st decade of October 2024

Harvesting of spring grain crops is coming to an end in the northern half of the country, and the agrometeorological conditions were good.
In the south-east of the republic (Alamatinsk, Zhambyl regions), winter wheat sowing continues. In the vicinity of the Uzynagash weather station in the Almaty region, "grain germination" is noted. The first shoots are observed in the vicinity of the Kordai agropost in the Zhambyl region.
In the south of the country (Turkestan region), on crops of thermophilic crops (soybeans, cotton), the phase of "maturation of the 1st box of raw cotton" continues, soybean harvesting has begun in the vicinity of the Shelek weather station in the Almaty region. The condition of the plants is mostly good and excellent.
The "harvest ripeness" phase is observed on sunflower crops in the Abai, East Kazakhstan, Pavlodar and Kostanay regions. The condition of the plants is mostly good and in places excellent. Harvesting has begun in the vicinity of the Dmitrievka, Urjar, Abai region, Novoakhmirova and Samarka weather stations in the East Kazakhstan region.
In the observed areas of the North Kazakhstan region, the development phase of "full yellow ripeness" is noted on oilseed flax crops. In the vicinity of the Chkalovo weather station and the Bulak agropost in the North Kazakhstan region, harvesting has begun on the site.
In most of the territory of distilling livestock, pastures are poorly grazed, pastures in the Moyinkum and Shusky districts of the Zhambyl region and in the Shetsky district of the Karaganda region are not grazed, pastures in the Zhambyl district of the Almaty region are strongly grazed, in the Syrym, Kaztalovsky, Akzhaiksky districts of the West Kazakhstan region are not grazed, moderate grazing is observed in other pastures.
In the first decade of October, raw sod is observed on pastures in the Kyzylkoginsky district of the Atyrau region, in the Akzhar district of the West Kazakhstan region, in the Mangystau and Beine districts of the Magistau region, and on some pastures of the Aktobe region, in the rest of the pasture livestock dry condition of the sod.
