In the Zhambyl and Turkestan regions, the observed areas of winter wheat show phases of development "shoots" - "3rd leaf", at the beginning of the decade, winter wheat was sown after tillage in the vicinity of the Tolebi meteorological station in the Zhambyl region, at the end of the decade, the phase of development "coleoptile" was observed. In the Turkestan region, against the background of a decrease in air temperature, a snow cover with a height of 1 cm was observed, which led to the cessation of winter wheat vegetation. The condition of the plants is mostly good, in some areas excellent. The height of the plants is 5-12 cm.
Snow cover is mostly absent in the areas of autumn sowing, only in the vicinity of the Sarkand weather station of the Zhetysu region and the Tasaryk weather station of the Turkestan region, the height of the snow cover on the last day of the decade was 1-3 cm. The minimum soil temperature at the depth of the winter wheat tillering node in the Almaty region (Kyrgyzsai and Aksengir stations) dropped to minus 2 °C, soil freezing in mountainous and foothill areas of the Almaty region was within 1-8 cm, in the Zhetysu region (Sarkand weather station) the soil froze to 16 cm, soil freezing was not observed in Zhambyl and Turkestan regions.
In the last decade of November, weather conditions favored grazing, cattle grazed everywhere on pastures.
In most of the territory of cattle breeding, pastures are moderately grazed, weak grazing is observed on some pastures in Aktobe region, pastures in Moyinkum and Shusky districts of Zhambyl region, Mangystau district of Mangystau region are not grazed, pastures in Zhambyl district of Almaty region, Akzhaik district of West Kazakhstan region and Aktogay district of Karaganda region are strongly grazed. Frozen sod is observed on most pastures, in some pastures in the northwest, southwest, and southeast, wet sod, dry sod is observed on individual pastures in Aktobe and West Kazakhstan regions.
