Kazhydromet presented the main forecast of the flood situation in the regions of Kazakhstan

The National Hydrometeorological Service of Kazakhstan (Kazhydromet) has published the main forecast of the flood situation for spring 2025. The forecast is based on an analysis of the amount of precipitation that fell during the cold period, the depth of freezing of the soil and the presence of an ice crust on its surface.  

After the rivers are opened, short-term hydrological forecasts will be published weekly to promptly inform the public and government authorities.
