Today, the Center for Strategic Planning and Operational Management of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted a briefing on "The passage of the winter period. Emergency rescue operations. Forecast data".
The briefing was attended by the Head of the Emergency Management Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, representatives of RSE Kazhydromet and JSC NC KazAvtoZhol.
During the event, the weather forecaster of RSE Kazhydromet presented the weather forecast for the coming days. Representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and JSC NC KazAvtoZhol informed the population about the weather conditions under which it is not recommended to travel long distances, and also gave recommendations on ensuring safety on highways and in the urban environment in winter.
The briefing participants stressed the importance of observing precautionary measures, receiving official information in a timely manner and following the recommendations of authorized bodies to ensure the safety of citizens during the winter period.
