According to the results of the performed snow surveys, it was found that the current snow cover height ranges from 15 to 26 cm, which is on average 30-40% higher than the values of the same period last year. At the same time, the average water supply in the snow is 10-20% lower than last year's figures.
The data obtained is used by Kazhydromet specialists to assess the current hydrological situation and forecast spring floods.
