In the period from January 19 to January 30, the Kazhydromet branch of the Karaganda and Ulytau regions, together with the Department of Emergency Situations of the Karaganda Region, conducted an additional route snow survey of the Nur and Sherubainur river basins as part of snow cover monitoring and hydrological situation assessment.
The snow measuring route of the Nura River basin includes 12 control points located on the side tributaries of the river and covering two districts of the region.:
• Bukharzhyrau district — Togyzkudyk locality (2 points), Akkudyk locality (1 point), Kyzyltu locality (1 point);
• Karkaralinsky district-P. Besoba (2 points), Kalinino locality (1 point), Matak locality (2 points), Akkora locality (2 points), Kushoki locality (1 point).
The snow measuring route of the Sherubainura River basin consists of 11 control points located on side tributaries and covering the Shet district:
in accordance with the locality of Spassk (1 point), locality of Akbastau (1 point), locality of Kyzylkoi (1 point), locality of Akbaura (2 points), locality of Aksu-Aly (1 point), Kudryavy locality (1 point), Spacious locality (1 point).
