Kazhydromet RSE together with Johan Luther, Technical Coordinator of the World Meteorological Organization for Regional Association II, took part in an international meeting dedicated to the implementation of the global initiative "Early Warnings for All". During the event, Danara Kizatovna Alimbayeva, Director General of the NGMS of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Permanent Representative to the World Meteorological Organization, presented key achievements and strategic plans of Kazakhstan in the field of early warning systems development. It was noted that Kazakhstan is currently forming a strong and stable hydrometeorological platform, being one of the leaders of Central Asia. The National Service relies on more than a century of observation experience and a well-developed network of about 2,000 stations. Among the significant achievements is the introduction of high—precision numerical forecasting with a resolution of 2 km, which brings the region to a new technological level. RSE Kazhydromet provides a full cycle of hydrometeorological services, from monitoring to forecasting and warning. Digital solutions, notification systems and access to real-time data are actively developing. Special attention is paid to future development: modernization of the surveillance network, data integration, introduction of digital services and artificial intelligence technologies. The meeting participants stressed the importance of regional cooperation in the face of rising climate risks. Kazakhstan has confirmed its readiness to act as a key platform for the exchange of experience and promotion of the Early Warnings for All initiative both in Central Asia and within the framework of the Regional Association II. Following the meeting, it was noted that the further development of early warning systems will be an important factor in increasing the resilience of the countries of the region and protecting the population from natural hazards.
