Kazhydromet releases drought forecast for May

In May 2026, according to preliminary calculations and taking into account the prevailing meteorological conditions, moderately dry conditions are expected in the Shalkar district of the Aktobe region and in the Kordai district of the Zhambyl region.
Humidification conditions are expected to be close to normal in the rest of the country.
The forecast is published in the app www.agrodata .kz and on the official website of RSE Kazhydromet.
The preliminary forecast will be updated as necessary.
