Caspian sea level forecast for 03-08 September 2020

The Caspian sea is an extremely important body of water for the economy and navigation. The water level in the Caspian sea is unstable, but there is a tendency to decrease it. The water in the Caspian sea is completely renewed every 250 years.

RSE "Kazhydromet" makes a weekly forecast of the Caspian sea level. In the Northern part of the Caspian sea, the level is expected to fluctuate around minus 28.15 m, rising to a maximum of minus 27.73 m and falling to a minimum of minus 28.66 m.

In the Middle part of the Caspian sea, the sea level is expected to fluctuate around minus 28.18 m, rising to a maximum of minus 27.80 m and falling to a minimum of minus 28.56 m.

The actual state of the water surface of the Caspian sea for the period from August 27 to September 01, 2020 corresponds to the previous weekly forecast.
