The 37th session is being held in Bishkek on September 9-11. The Interstate Council for Hydrometeorology of the Participating States The Commonwealth of Independent States.
The session is attended by the Director General RSE "Kazhydromet" Alimbayeva Danara Kizatovna. During the event, she made a presentation "On the activities of national hydrometeorological services, their interaction within the CIS and the WMO."
In her speech, the Director General spoke about the work of RSE Kazhydromet as the national hydrometeorological service. Kazakhstan, the main areas of activity and the development of cooperation with the national hydrometeorological services of the CIS countries and the World Meteorological Organization.
Kazhydromet RSE specialists also presented their work on scientific areas and the development of modern technologies in hydrometeorology. The topic "Kazhydromet's experience and prospects for NGMS cooperation" was presented. Central Asia. Numerical weather forecast models: application and AI-post-processing".
In addition, the issues of implementing the Strategy for the Development of hydrometeorological activities of states were considered during the session. – participants of the CIS and the implementation of priority areas of scientific research of national hydrometeorological services for 2025-2026.
The session participants discussed further development of cooperation, exchange of experience and implementation of modern scientific and digital solutions in the hydrometeorological industry.
