As part of his working visit to the Mangystau Region, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alibek Sakenuly Kuantyrov visited the Mangystau Regional Branch of RSE “Kazhydromet”.
During the visit, the Minister familiarized himself with the branch’s activities, the organisation of hydrometeorological observations, and the main areas of work carried out by regional specialists.
The meeting focused on the development of the hydrometeorological service, the organisation and implementation of meteorological observations, as well as ensuring the region has access to timely and reliable hydrometeorological information.
Particular attention was paid to monitoring weather conditions and improving the efficiency of the regional observation network.
The Minister reviewed the branch’s ongoing work and highlighted the importance of high-quality hydrometeorological observations in providing the public and government authorities with essential information.
