The meter is designed to measure the speed of water flow in open natural and artificial channels (rivers, channels).
The principle of operation of the meter is based on the proportional dependence of the speed of rotation of the paddle screw of the turntable on the speed of the incoming water flow. At each turn of the blade screw, a magnetically controlled contact located in the body of the turntable closes the DC electrical circuit at the ISO-1 input.
The meter contains an input unit that converts the incoming pulses and a microcontroller that controls the operation of the device.
The measurement results are displayed on the device display, in addition, the device has a light indication of the presence of input pulses from the hydrometric turntable.
Technical specifications:
Measuring range of water flow velocity, m/s:
- with a 120 mm (mm) diameter rotary vane screw: from 0.04 to 5.0;
- blade propeller fans with a diameter of 70 mm and from 0.1 to 5.0;
Preparation of the turntable for hydrometric work is performed in the following sequence. Opening the case, take out the body of the turntable with the undercarriage and the blade screw. Remove grease from the undercarriage parts. The undercarriage parts are thoroughly washed with kerosene, the ease of rotation of the ball bearings is checked, and oil is poured into the cavity of the blade screw.
Immediately after operation, the turntable and its accessories should be wiped with a dry cloth and only then placed in the packing box.
