Caspian sea level forecast for October 01-06, 2020

The area and volume of water in the Caspian sea varies significantly depending on fluctuations in the water level. At a water level of -28.0 m, the area is approximately 376,000 square kilometers, and the volume of water is 78,100 cubic kilometers.
RSE "Kazhydromet" makes a weekly forecast of the Caspian sea level. In the Northern part of the Caspian sea, the level is expected to fluctuate around minus 28.11 m, with a rise to a maximum of minus 27.67 m and a fall to a minimum of minus 28.62 m.
In The middle part of the Caspian sea, sea level fluctuation is expected around minus 28.24 m with a rise to a maximum of minus 27.90 m and a fall to a minimum of minus 28.61 m.
The actual state of the water surface of the Caspian sea for the period from 24 to 29 September 2020 corresponds to the previous weekly forecast.
