Published 08.10.2020 RSE "Kazhydromet" notifies residents of Aktobe, users of the AirKZ mobile app, about the reason for the lack of hydrogen sulfide and nitrogen dioxide values at the posts of Aktobe No. 2 (address - Ryskulova UD., 4), No. 3 (address - ul. Yeset Batyr, 109).
Due to the timing of verification and maintenance work at the specified air quality monitoring posts, data on nitrogen dioxide and hydrogen sulfide are currently unavailable. Completion of work on these posts is planned to be completed in the near future.
For the duration of service work, the selection and analysis of atmospheric air samples is carried out using a mobile laboratory.
According to the results of observation from September 28 to October 07, 2020, the following exceedances of the maximum permissible concentrations of pollutants were recorded:
-suspended particles PM - 2.5 (up to 1.18 MPC);
- carbon monoxide (up to 1.1 MPC);
- nitrogen dioxide (up to 7.45 MPC);
- nitrogen oxide (up to 2.28 MPC);
- hydrogen sulfide (up to 8.23 MPC).
Starting from 08.10.2020 and until the end of service work of automatic gas analyzers, RSE "Kazhydromet" will publish daily information about the results of measurements made using a mobile laboratory on the official website and social network pages.
