Caspian sea level forecast for October 15-20, 2020

In total, there are about 50 large and medium-sized Islands in the Caspian sea, with a total area of about 350 km2. In the Kazakh part of the sea there are large Coastal Islands — six Islands, of which the most significant are Sandy and Kamynin. They are administratively located in the Atyrau region. Oven the island or Successful of the island, is interesting because it can serve as proof of the historic fluctuations of the Caspian sea level. Sea stations and posts of RSE "Kazhydromet"are also located on these Islands.
RSE "Kazhydromet" makes a weekly forecast of the Caspian sea level. In the Northern part of the Caspian sea, the level is expected to fluctuate around minus 28.00 m, with a rise to a maximum of minus 27.71 m and a fall to a minimum of minus 28.40 m.
In The middle part of the Caspian sea, sea level fluctuation is expected around minus 28.28 m with a rise to a maximum of minus 28.08 m and a fall to a minimum of minus 28.70 m.
The actual state of the water surface of the Caspian sea for the period from October 08-14, 2020 corresponds to the previous weekly forecast.
