Published 13.11.2020 Weather forecast is a complex and very important task, and it is impossible to make a weather forecast using only data from meteorological observations on the territory of one country - the weather knows no borders. To make a weather forecast, it is also necessary to analyze satellite images of clouds, forecast numerical hydrodynamic models, but the most important thing is the person and his experience who makes the weather forecast, that is, the "forecaster". The forecaster uses his knowledge and experience to analyze all types of data, check and make weather forecasts for short and longer periods.
And most importantly, one forecaster is good, and two or more are better, and to this end, every year the hydrometeorological center of Russia holds a Forum of hydrometeorological services of the CIS countries, which gathers experts to make a consensus forecast of air temperature and precipitation for the upcoming winter.
And despite the epidemiological situation, the weather changes all the time, winter 2020/2021. it is coming and you need to prepare for it correctly, but for this you need to make the most correct forecast.
For this purpose, specialists of RSE "Kazhydromet" in the period from November 17 to 18, 2020. they will participate online in the next 19th session of the Forum and discuss current issues of monitoring and forecasting climate variability.
