Meteorological electronic barometers BRS-1M are single-channel devices for measuring atmospheric air pressure in the range from 600 to 1100 hPa. Structurally, the barometer of a working network is a body of rectangular shape.
The principle of operation of the barometer is based on the use of a vibration-frequency absolute pressure Converter made on the basis of a thin-walled cylindrical resonator containing a temperature sensor made in the form of a thermosensitive quartz resonator.
Output frequencies controlled by the switch are sent to the frequency Converter, where they are converted to digital codes. Then the digital codes are sent to the controller, which calculates the value of the measured pressure from the received data and transmits it to the liquid crystal indicator, as well as through the information output device to the electrical connector. The operator independently sets one of the pressure measurement units: hectopascal or millimeter of mercury
The BRS-1M barometer maintains its meteorological characteristics under the influence of ambient temperature from 5 to 500C and maximum relative humidity up to 95%.
During operation, the barometer should be protected from vibration, shocks and shocks, and placed at a distance of at least 1 m from sources of intense thermal and electromagnetic radiation.
The BRS-1M is an accurate and reliable device with a verification interval of once every 3 years.
