Published 31.03.2021 Today, on March 31, 2021, the final meeting of the board of Roshydromet "On the activities of Roshydromet in 2020 and tasks for 2021"was held. The meeting was held online.
At the meeting, reports were made by the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation on climate issues, Ruslan Sayd - Husainovich Edelgeriev, the head of Roshydromet, Igor Anatolyevich Shumakov, the President of the Russian Hydrometeorological Society, the Honorary President of the WMO, Alexander Ivanovich Bedritsky
Among the representatives of international hydrometeorological services were: Director General of the RSE "Kazhydromet" of the Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan Danara Alimbayeva, Acting Director of the State Research Institution "Center for Hydrometeorology and Monitoring" of the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia Levon Vanoevich Azizyan, Deputy Director of the State Hydrometeorological Service of the Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment of the Republic of Moldova Mikhail Grigorash, Head of the Main Department "Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Control of Radioactive Contamination and Environmental Monitoring" of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Kovalchuk and other representatives of neighboring countries.
Danara Kizatovna noted the fruitful cooperation between Kazhydromet and Roshydromet, which has been carried out since 1992 within the framework of a bilateral agreement, and suggested strengthening the work on the state of transboundary waters, especially in the Zhaiyk River basin (Ural), etc.
Following the meeting, the report of the Head of Roshydromet, I. A. Shumakov, was discussed, the results of activities for 2020 were summed up and plans for 2021 were noted.
