Published 14.04.2021 In the southern regions of Kazakhstan, winter grain crops were actively growing in the past decade, the heat supply of winter wheat was sufficient (the average air temperature for the decade was about 12°C).
In the observed areas in the Almaty region, winter wheat is in the phase: the 3rd leaf - the formation of nodal roots, in the vicinity of MS Sarkand – shoots, in some areas the plants have been well developed since autumn (MS Kyrgyzsay), stem growth has begun (the "exit into the tube" phase is marked). The condition of plants everywhere is good and excellent, around MS Akkainar there is the appearance of weed vegetation.
In the Zhambyl region, in the observed areas, winter wheat mainly continued leaf formation (the "third leaf" phase was noted) and tillering, in the vicinity of AMP Acca – seedlings, the condition of winter wheat is everywhere excellent.
In most areas of the Turkestan region, the observed areas of winter wheat are mainly marked by the phase: the 3rd leaf, in the vicinity of MS Kazygurt – tillering. The condition of winter wheat is mostly good, the crops around AMP Ekpenda are satisfactory.
Precipitation in the southern regions of the country contributed to an increase in moisture reserves in the soil, but somewhat hindered the implementation of spring field work. The increase in air temperature in the west, east and center of the republic has accelerated the melting of snow in the fields, in the northern regions the fields have not yet been freed from snow cover.
