RSE "Kazhydromet" has signed a cooperation agreement with NARKHOZ University in the field of air quality monitoring, knowledge and experience exchange.
The agreement was signed within the framework of the project of the University of Helsinki "MegaSense "(advanced air monitoring technologies for informed decision-making), according to which 17 portable sensor sensors will be installed at the posts and administrative building of the Branch of the RSE" Kazhydromet " in Almaty. Kazhydromet will have full access to real-time data.
The project aims to improve the spatio-temporal resolution of FMI SILAM air quality forecasts and clean air navigation.
