A steady transition of the average daily air temperature through 20° occurs in most of the territory of the republic in June, in the far south in May, in the far north - in the first decade of July.
Despite the high average daily air temperature, according to long-term data, frosts of up to 5°C are still possible in June. The latest frosts can be observed in the third decade of June in the northern regions and in the mid-mountain zone with a probability of 1-2 times in 10 years.
According to the advisory forecast, in June 2021, an increased background of air temperature is expected in most of Kazakhstan with the predominant influence of high pressure and the removal of warm air masses from the regions of Iran. Thus, in most parts of the republic, the average monthly air temperature is predicted to be above the norm by 1°, only in the western part of the country - near the climatic norm.
At the beginning of the month, heavy heavy rains are forecast in most parts of the country under the influence of cyclonic activity, with thunderstorms, hail and squally winds up to 15-25 m/s, in the southern regions of the country with dust storms. The temperature background will be influenced by the deep high-altitude trough of the northern cyclone, which will be oriented first to the western regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and then shifting in the eastern direction, will bring cooling to the rest of the regions of the republic. In this regard, a short-term drop in air temperature is predicted in the north, in the center and in the east of the country, where at night the thermometer will drop to +2 + 10°C, in the afternoon to +12+17°C. With the removal of warm air masses after the cold snap, warming is predicted: in the daytime, the air will warm up to +25+34°C.
In the first decade of the month in the west of the republic, the air temperature is expected to fluctuate at night from +10 + 17°C to +15 + 21°C, during the day from +20+25°C to +25+32°C. In the southern regions of the country, the main background air temperature at night will be +15 + 25°C, in the daytime +30+40°C, in the foothill and mountain areas at night +10+15°C, in the afternoon +25+30°C.
During the month, with heat waves in the northern, central and eastern regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the daily air temperature will rise to +30 + 38°C, in some areas to +42°C; in the south-west, south and south-east of the country to +35+43°C, in some areas to +45°C.
Under the influence of cold air masses from the North Atlantic regions, cold weather returns are not excluded.
In June, mainly short-term rains with thunderstorms, gusty winds up to 15-20 m/s, dust storms, there is a chance of hail.
The amount of precipitation is expected to be about normal in most of the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, less than normal - in the south-western and central parts of the republic (with a norm of 25-49 mm in most of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 4-24 mm in the south-western half of the country, 53-99 mm in the foothill and mountain areas of the south-east and east of Kazakhstan).
