Published 04.06.2021 On the occasion of the professional holiday - World Environment Day, the Minister of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan M. Mirzagaliyev marked the employees of RSE "Kazhydromet" with badges . A. Baymuratov, A. Zhandildina, and G. Tulebayeva received the professional award "Ecology of Salysynyn Uzdigi".

The date of the World Environment Day was chosen on June 5 — the day of the beginning of the Stockholm Conference on the Environment in 1972.
In its resolution, the General Assembly calls on the UN States to hold annual events on this day, confirming their desire to preserve and improve the environment.
