On June 10, 2021, representatives of Kazhydromet and the delegation of Tajikhydromet met.
Representatives of the National Hydrometeorological Service of Tajikistan arrived in our country to exchange experience in the field of servicing consumers of hydrometeorological and environmental information, as well as on technical and methodological support.
The first day was devoted to familiarizing the delegation with the work of the production departments of Kazhydromet and the service of state bodies with hydrometeorological and environmental information. Our colleagues from Tajikistan were very interested in the experience of Kazhydromet working with the population and government agencies.
Colleagues from Tajikistan highly appreciated the modern format of public services, including the AirKz mobile application, which provides information on the quality of atmospheric air in all regions of Kazakhstan, and the specialized web application for servicing farmers ' farms AgroData, which has no analogues in Central Asia.
The discussion on hydrometeorological and environmental monitoring and maintenance will continue on June 11 and 12.

The AgroData app provides farmers with online agrometeorological services, start dates for spring field work, growing season and yield forecasts, practical information and forecasts, which are very important for decision-making in crop production. The work of the AirKz mobile application, which provides information on the quality of atmospheric air in all regions of Kazakhstan, was also demonstrated.To date, more than 6 thousand people have downloaded the mobile application.
In addition, following the results of the first day, the Hydrometeorological Services of Kazakhstan and Tajikistan signed an Information Exchange Program for the period 2021-2024.
