Forecast of the synoptic situation and dangerous weather events in Kazakhstan for September 23, 2026
In the east, southeast and central parts of the country, rain with thunderstorms is expected due to the passage of atmospheric frontal boundaries. In the rest of Kazakhstan, weather without precipitation is expected under the influence of a ridge of high pressure. Strengthening of the wind is expected across the republic. At night and in the morning, fog is expected in the west, northwest, north, east and central parts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
A high fire danger is expected in Pavlodar and Karaganda Regions, in the Abai and Zhetisu Regions, in the west, south and east of the East Kazakhstan Region, in the southern half of the Akmola Region, in the east and south of the North Kazakhstan Region, in the west, north and central parts of the Mangystau Region, in the east of the Atyrau and Aktobe Regions, and in the south and east of the Almaty Region.
An extreme fire danger is expected in the Kyzylorda, Turkistan, Zhambyl and Almaty Regions, in the Ulytau and Zhetisu Regions, in the west, south, northeast and central parts of the Aktobe Region, in the west, north, east and south of the Karaganda Region, in the north of the Akmola Region, in the south of the Atyrau Region, in the northeast of the Mangystau Region, in the southeast and south of the East Kazakhstan Region, and in the northwest, south and east of the Abai Region.
