Forecast of the synoptic situation and dangerous weather events in Kazakhstan for February 23, 2026

Under the influence of the north-western cyclone and related atmospheric frontal sections, snow and snowstorms will occur in most of the territory of Kazakhstan, and heavy snow in the north and east of the country. Only in the west, weather without precipitation is forecast under the influence of the anticyclone spur. Fog and increased winds are expected in the republic.
